Looking Back, Looking Ahead

As we look back on 2012 we remember some of the seafarers, truck drivers, and port workers that we ministered to during the year.  As we look ahead to 2013 we're reminded of the great opportunity that remains for ministry in the Freeport Harbor Community.

Though we're facing changes in funding, our mission, core values, and vision remain the same.

Texas Port Ministry of Freeport exists to providespiritual, social, and physical care to the Freeport Harbor Community.

The essential core values of Texas Port Ministry are:

  • Spiritual care is the first priority.
  • Church participation in support of the ministry.
  • Volunteers in the implementation of the ministry.
  • Cooperation with harbor authorities.
